Private Gym Experience

Our exclusive inner city Private Gym powered by our Ignite Service System is the personal perfect blend of personal training and gym membership for the busy inner city professional who values service and achievement.

Ignite’s Service System is best explained by our clients as always having access to a roaming trainer who is focused on your needs by making sure you are performing all the exercises correctly and working at the right intensity. All of our clients programs are full updated and managed by within our Ignite Service System.

Nutrition plays a foundational role in our health and body shape as it is the foundation of our body. Our 28 day Energy Coaching program is individualised towards your goals by identifying favourable and unfavorable consumption in your diet. Understanding these patterns together we create new food habits that support you. We recommend that all our clients do our Energy Coaching Program every six (6) months to reset our habits. As so often life and work get in the way and we forget what’s important.

Focus sessions are done by PJ our Client Services Manager within the first week of joining. They are designed to get a complete picture of your goals at Ignite so we can begin to deliver our plan to best assist and support you. Also you have access to set baseline measures to compare against in the future to assess how you are tracking. Refocus sessions are follow ups of the Focus session. We have refocus days (the first 2 Saturdays of each new season) which is a great opportunity to re-assess your goals or measures or both. However, you can request a refocus session at any time by clicking here.

Our Exercise Programming model at Ignite is individualised directly towards you and your goals. We understand that everyone is at different levels and experience and we cater for that through our programs and the interaction between our trainers and you on the gym floor. Our focus is to program the body for a better life through building strength and endurance to allow us to go about our daily lives pain free and strong and lean.


Personal Training

Some of our clients are choosing to do one or two highly intensive 30min 1-on-1 sessions a week to give them that extra attention and accountability that they need.

Currently 17% of our private gym clients do at least 1 × 30min 1-on-1 session a week. Hear from one of our clients how 1-on-1 initially help him lose 20kg in 6 months and why he has stayed with 1-on-1 training even after he has achieved his goal. From Peter Johnston:

This spreads the cost while ensuring you’re still getting highly-personalised service and achieving your goals. Of course, we do offer 1-on-1 personal training sessions as well. We find a lot of clients supplement their gym membership with one or two personal training sessions per week to accelerate results or prepare for an event.
